Description:
Phosphorus Pentoxide (P₂O₅) is a white crystalline powder with high purity and strong hygroscopic and dehydrating properties. It reacts with water, releasing a large amount of heat and sequentially forming metaphosphoric acid, pyrophosphoric acid, and ultimately phosphoric acid. Due to its extremely high moisture absorption capacity, it is widely used in gas and liquid drying applications. It is also an important raw material in the production of high-purity phosphoric acid, organic synthesis reactions, and organophosphorus compounds.
